Dr. Lisa Breaux Black was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lisa completed her Family Medicine residency in 1998 at the University Medical Center in Lafayette. Dr. Black is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Black is the proprietor of La Vie Family Practice Medical Center, #Hydrate and Allons MediSpa. She specializes in age management, sexual health, wellness and hormone replacement. Lisa has been at the forefront of functional medicine and non-surgical skin rejuvenation. Dr. Black’s personalized care is gleaned over a lifetime of experience and positive feedback from her amazing patients.
Dr. Black has many notable achievements while attending college at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Dr. Black is the proud mother of four children, Madeline, Julia, Laura and Nicholas. With all the awards and recognition, parenting her four fun-spirited children still bring the most pride and joy. Her spare time is spent with her family and friends, traveling, riding horses, yoga, gardening and cooking.
