Care Instructions

No Accutane 6 months prior to procedure.
Avoid salicylic acids, glycolic acids, benzoyl peroxide, vitamin C, retinoids, etc. for 2 weeks prior to treatment.
Inform the staff if you have a history of cold sores. If so, you will be treated prophylactically.

Take prescribed medication as directed (if applicable).
Come to the office with a clean face freshly washed with an antibacterial soap (No makeup/moisturizers/sunscreens).

You may feel warming sensation or discomfort during and after the procedure. This will resolve spontaneously.

The treated skin will feel tighter than normal and may be slightly red if your skin is sensitive.
A moisturizer & sunscreen will be applied to your skin directly after treatment.
Refrain from any harsh facial products for 2 days after your treatment to avoid any irritation. Use a gentle cleanser only the first 2 days after your treatment.
You may have slight crustiness, bronzing, peeling and itching. This will improve daily. Treatment areas off the face such as the neck and chest will take longer to heal.
Use a recommended moisturizer with SUNSCREEN when going outdoors.
Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds to prolong results. If you are exposed to the sun without protection in the immediate healing period, this can trigger dark spots. Please protect your skin to avoid this.
You may wear makeup the next day.
